I already have the 3 ton steel HF jack haha. Race ramps plus extensions are still just sooooooo pricey. I should just buy them though. They'll last a lifetime and make oil changes way quicker than jacking and using stands for placement.

Buy the ramps.

I just drive one front wheel up onto a piece of 2x12. This allows access to the front jack stand point so I can place both front jack stands at the same time. Takes <5 min

ChaseZ 07-08-2016 09:47 AM

Yea. The 56 inch 2 piece versions and getting the 64 inch extensions since they're somehow $3 cheaper.

I think I might run over to the exhaust shop with the test pipes and see if they can do it without breaking an o2 sensor.

I think I'd have to take these off to be able to use any of the race ramps, only 1 5/8" clearance underneath

Like them though. And well pretty much need them so I don't trash my front end. Car isn't even really all that low,

2x12(s) to give you clearance and roll up the ramps.

I left the o2 sensors on when I took my cats off. Much easier to deal with off the floor. Came off no problem then.

Just let them scrape a little. They'll be fine :twocents:

My front chin spoiler is still a champ and takes much more damage than those little air guides in front of the wheels.

Yeah, sort of defeats the purpose though. Especially if considering a few hundred bucks for specialty ramps and then still having to use 2x4's like I do now. I have to roll onto a piece of wood even to get my low pro race jack underneath.

Oh they scrape alright :driving:

And if they scraped the lightweight race ramps I'm guessing they would just push the ramps forward

Leingod 07-08-2016 10:04 AM

Hence why i am ordering the extensions also. No scrap at all at roughly the same height as yours.
