Sucks. I use RC car motor spray to clean. Degreasers instantly. Plus, I hate googone as much as plasti-shittt. WD40 is better, less stink.

dude, you look at the bumper, there is literally NO residue from the new tape that I had just applied...

eastwest2300 07-29-2016 10:34 PM

its crazy...

ChaseZ 07-29-2016 10:47 PM

Goddamn fedex. Sounds like they lost the order. It's four days late now and the best answer the gal on the phone had was maybe it's being held in Memphis. Yeah, ok honey. Packages from Cali to Alberta don't go east they go north. Directly. They lost it.

Stillen G3 is super quiet.

Uncomfortably quiet. It's a very tame, conservative CAI. The gains seem to be there but wow is my exhaust ever quieter now!

Go drive next to a center median and floor it in 3rd gear, then report back. Mine is sometimes louder than my stillen cutback at certain RPM's. Although now that i think of it i cut out some vents in the front bumper so that might be why too.

Yeah WOT it's there for sure. Anything under 3500rpm it darn near sounds stock... and that's with ART + e370! Lol

The sound from the Injen made was deep and burbly. Very nice.
It may however have been a bit too free flow. Very little back pressure, whereas with the G3 I do have some. Probably better torque with the H3.

The Stillen is much smoother as well. More tame. Guess that makes the other somewhat raunchy and unkempt. I don't have a problem with raunchy and unkempt :icon17:

Butt dyno still favouring the Injen at this point, but I'll be patient about it.

Here is a video clip of when i did autocross in CT. I had the external mic next to the G3 air filters.

I was going to cut in a wide vent/duct where the factory license plate bracket would go. That was a big part of switching to the G3.

Guess I could always cut in some vents inside of my DRLs for the Injens too.

I like my women conservative but my cars raunchy :happydance:

Like the vid :) thanks

That sounds rather similar to how mine is now with the G3. Maybe a bit tamer.

Sometimes I floor it just to hear the symphony coming from them which could also be the cause of the 17 MPG combined I get. :icon14:

But if i wanted good gas mileage I would of bought a prius. The tesla i want would be for "Family duty" not because I want to save the environment. I love technology.

Oh yes I do that too. Or little burps here and there lol

I believe that's what I'm missing without the Injen. Hate to say it but I enjoyed that one more. Was deep and burbly enough to set off car alarms idling through a parking lot. And not in an obnoxious way. Ok not in a terribly obnoxious way ;)

Found these. Might work just inside the DRLs to feed even more air into the Injens if they go back one.

I have an Escape as well. The Z gets better highway mileage though :icon17:

Trying to figure to how to upload an audio file from the recorder on my iPad so I can post it. Seems like something that should be really simple, but not so much :p

Morning everyone. I can't believe people are up at this hour. Not cool. Time to go pick up a bunch of fencing from Menards. Sometimes owning a truck sucks lol.
