hahaa! i was thinking to do the same on my Z bro haha! i usually use the Mobil 1 and was thinking if change them for Valvoline... last time when i track my Z i meet a guy that his brother have a 370z and told me that they use Valvoline Full Syn and the oil temp is a bit lower that when he use other oil... dont know if this is true but make me want to try it and see what happen haha!

i will have to look that resort up after i leave work today haha

I'll be buying Mobil 1 from Walmart until they jack up their prices or I stop driving the Z so much that I need oil changes more than once every 6 months.

Redline everything else though

Yea. is aw a few oil threads with you saying you used mobile 1 without issue. Figured if you used it, it must be safe. Redline for everything else is acceptable.

If I didn't do oil changes every few months, I'd probably use something else just because I don't like giving money to Walmart. But the price is just too damn good for morals to be getting in the way of frugality
