We have a couple packs of coyotes here. They are another animal that likes to scare the **** out of me at when it is pitch black outside lol.
They howl so loud and I know it is only coyotes but I always think of wolves or worse coming out of the woods for me :rofl2:

At our house now its the damn woodchuck and deer that kill me. my day lilies are deer food and the rest of the shrubs are woodchuck snacks. My rock wall is a woodchuck den. The coyotes stay out of the neighborhood but are in the nearby woods.

Sounds like my cat. Orange tabby. Big arsehole and howls from 3-7 in the morning every freaking morning.

Ghostvette 05-25-2016 08:43 AM

She's figured out how to open cabinets, and the doors to where the washer & dryer are located. Her favorite 'toy' is the string out of my hoodie, when I get home, she'll go get it and bring it to me so I can play with her.

Booooo!

Leingod 05-25-2016 11:55 AM

Work now wants a detailed listing of my SQF job description with any changes made. Things on it that I no longer do and adding things I now do. I've added more than i've taken off, but still scary that they're going to far as to overhaul descriptions.

I don't know how many times Charter cable is going to ask me why I chose to terminate my service, but today I got to have a little fun with them. As I was walking into the building to return my equipment, I noticed a sign on the door that said no concealed weapons allowed. When the representative asked me why I terminated my service, I politely said it's because your company does not support my 2nd Amendment rights. She seemed a little confused.

should have told her you wont let me take my S&W 500 in. :icon14:

Masterbeatty 05-25-2016 01:10 PM

If I had a 500 I don't think I would be able to handle firing more than one round. The gun is the size of my arm.

The biggest gun I have shot was a MK-43 machine gun and it was awesome. I will see if I can find a video or pic.

Just makes you sorta start to stretch the truth slightly on job responsibilities to make yourself seem more important. Especially when the damn company wants to keep secretive as to how many more layoffs are coming.

Me: network admin?
Boss: Supervisor of all network abilities
Me; i'm batman basically!

of course, everyone lies on them and split things up that can be done as one.

but no company will flat out say hey we're going to let 10 people go, good luck survival of the fittest lol. usually it's just really high up management that knows who will let go. i've seen vp's get fired here and of course they had no clue they were getting fired

Leingod 05-25-2016 02:17 PM

I've never been fired or let go! Don't want to ruin my track record! hahahahaha

Ghostvette 05-25-2016 03:52 PM

I've been laid off twice in the same year. It was not a lot of fun... :ugh:

onzedge 05-25-2016 04:23 PM

I have been fired -- more than once and on-purpose each time. Each was a liberating and cleansing experience.

JARblue 05-25-2016 05:39 PM

I've quit every job I've ever had. People can be real a$$holes.

I work for myself now in the same office as my father. We hired mom to help with administrative stuff after she retired. And my wife does the books for the company. It's working out great  Nepotism FTW lol

eastwest2300 05-25-2016 08:58 PM
