do you have to hard wire these in or can you take them from car to truck?

if i want to get one, K40 it is since radar detecters are contraband here.... lol

a g37 buddy of mine has the K40 hardwired to the audio system and one radar in front bumper and one in back....

and where would i go to get it?

The main unit is hard wired, but the laser detectors are bluetooth, so no wires to the unit. Just stick them in the bumpers. Pretty neat. I had one in my 08 350, they are nice.
