for successful washing in the sun, one must not eat tacohell the previous night. :iagree:

kenchan 03-29-2016 10:46 AM

as u all know, tacohell is a laxative. :ugh:

Masterbeatty 03-29-2016 10:53 AM

Not sure what one-step sealant means - the sealant I use can be used by itself or layered. But glaze goes best directly on the paint. Top it with sealant or wax of your choice. I do the same thing as MB when I do a full detail job. Wash, clay, correct (I usually just spot hand polish if needed), glaze, sealant, wax, :yum:

if MB is talking about griot's one-step sealant, it has diminishing abrasives in there to make it a one step (polish and sealant) combo.
in dat case, the glazed surface/membrane would be removed.. :ugh:

ooohhh... yeah... no... that will definitely take off the glaze

kenchan 03-29-2016 11:53 AM

yah, maybe he meant the griot's sealant (regular sealant has no abrasives).

my new technique is clay, polish (scratchX on RO) or glaze, HydroMax
so frikken easy.

kenchan 03-29-2016 11:54 AM

i need to polish my Z this spring. will do dat too next month when i take a long break. :D
