just keep the wheel's under 25lbs. anything more u will DEFINITELY feel it through ur steering and especially braking.

the reason why i classify my G as 'dressup car' is because i want the multi piece wheels but they are heavy.. 27-29lbs. those are much too heavy to be on a 300+ hp sports car imho.

the prodrives i ordered for my sti today.. 20lbs. 5lbs savings from the stock enkei's. dat alone is huge. and the DWS06 is already ligther by a lb or two from the dunlops. this alone could probably shave off like 0.2-0.3sec off 0-60mph given i launch right.. which means i will probably out accelerate a stock 370Z AT.

guy probably pulled too hard during removal? didnt heat up the tape? not sure.

Yea. Was reading to keep the weight of the wheels below 23lbs. Starts to really mess with the Z quickly past that point. It's a love and hate thing with the Forgestars. I absolutely love concaved wheels.

Idk how the spoiler looks though physically on a car once mounted. Would a crack inside like that be visible or cause any fitment issues? It looks like it's on the side of the spoiler.

yah, was never in the luv side with forgestars, but at least you can custom order your specific specs and made in america.

weds have super concavity for sure.

can't say for certain. if i were u, id just get an aftermarket spoiler if a new factory one is too steep.

long time ago i bought my G's rear lip trunk spoiler from this place called spoiler depot or something. they pre-painted mine before shipment and the color match is perfect. the lip is small enough it just used VHB tape. it's been on my car over 10yrs, no issue. :D

i was never a fan of that ironing board spoiler of the G35C's. :ugh2:

i have aluminum wheels, made them myself in the chicken. weigh next to nothing. i out accelerate even a bugatti

Someone on here posted about the knockoffs found on ebay. They're $140 shipped and painted. Fit perfectly supposedly also. I'd prefer OEM, but I can justify spending $300+ for a stupid spoiler. I'm just cheap. Money isn't the issue haha. I'll see if he will do $100 shipped.

yah, but note that the weds, like some of the rays wheels, protrude their spoke arch beyond the lip of the wheel. i like that, but some folks dont.

yep, i think it was someone with the blue base who bought the 3rd part one, right? if they were happy with it give it a shot. much easier than trying to fix a broken wing and painting it, etc. i think..

kenchan 02-17-2016 02:04 PM

at least on the 370z's the 3rd brake lamp is on the gate, and not on the spoiler itself. :D

And yea, you have good memory. i was looking at this thread. $140 shipped still and painted. I'll just order this instead. Everyone said they were fine and looked stock.
