good set of ratchet wrenches to buy? Don't need anything fancy. Just a basic 5-10 piece set of standard sizes.

Craftsman, ive had mine for over 10 yrs and only broke a ratchet and it was replaced 20 mins later with a new one from sears. :tup:

Do I need to buy the set from Sears or can they be bought anywhere and returned at sears for replacement?

IDK, you would have to ask them but, regardless they are quality tools. I have some cheap husky stuff that were barely a year old before I threw them out.
