Figured i'll drive it in the heavy rain today to clean off the dirt from the summer. Suppose to be in the 50's this weekend so I'll be able to detail it one last time before storage for the next 6 months.

On the topic of storage. I'm going to get a bottle of Stabil. Anything I need to know or do for it? Just add to tank or does it need to be driven?

From the Gold Eagle site

STA-BILŽ Brand Fuel Stabilizer for Gasoline-Powered Equipment

USAGE DIRECTIONS:

1 oz. (30mL) treats up to 2˝ gallons (9.5L) of fuel. Use STA-BILŽ only with FRESH FUEL, and keep gas can or tank 95% full to avoid condensation build up in tank during storage. Run Engine for 5 minutes after adding product to treat entire fuel system.

2 bottles should cover it then. That's easy enough. Thanks!

This is certainly worthy of a rep or poo ... er ... two. I don't have any reps left today ... let alone rainbow reps. I will consider repping tomorrow though.

Yea. I saw it said $36 for 36 towels or something and thought "dats not a good deal"

Pintsize725 10-09-2015 12:24 PM

So after having new wheels and tires put on, the 6 starts vibrating at 45mph+. Took it back yesterday afternoon to have the balance looked at but since I showed up 30 minutes before closing time, I'm sure they didn't look into it. Also, the unopened wheel lock key is further proof. They said something about swapping my hub rings but the vibration is still there. I'll be going back again this afternoon and talking to the manager. Luckily, he and I are cool with each other.

yah, i usually consume up to 1/4 fuel left, pour stabil in, then add gas to the top. you'll want a long funnel as the bottle's neck is too short.

then drive around 5-10miles to mix it in the tank well. that's about it.
dont start the car until spring.

btw, make sure you put a battery tender on your battery or charge it every 3weeks. u can get one from amazon for like $25 shipped.

Bridgestone RE760 because I actually liked them on my Z. Weird, I know. I doubt it's shaking because it's a lower profile though.

Overall a good day. Carpeted speaker box, wired everything up. Turned on the radio and... nothing. Realized I had to turn on the sub output on radio. :icon17:

ahh dude, the drive sucked ballz, first it was a lot of rain, then half way through ohio, the rain stopped but the crosswinds were crazy from ohio to michigan.. it was a long drive.. The uhaul would only go 65 to 70 if i was lucky... the drive was long.
