In America, yes. Businesses aren't required to provide paid maternity leave benefits but an employee can take time unpaid time off under the Family Medical Leave Act. My company only offers 12 PTO days per year and that is what I have to use.

That's messed up. You need more time off and paid maternity leave

My old 08 Altima coupe while driving to Washington I caught a bird in my dog light. It crushed the light and was lodged in the housing. I had to stop and pull it out at a gas station. Yuck. This was in North Dakota so the speed limit was like 80
