So that volt meter I bought.... it died. Other maintenance guy who's a certified electrician was showing me how to use it. 200 volt rating on the thing and he shoves the prongs into an extension cord outlet. The wires on the meter fried instantly and detached from the prongs....

We tried a Fluke meter afterwards and he showed me what it was suppose to do.

i think if u send amazon customer service a claim with a picture, they will send you a replacement even without sending yours back.

they've always taken care of me.. well except for this one time. :mad:

bought a dvd from amazon one time... arrived with a broken case, disc damaged. filed claim telling them to use padding next time, send me replacement.

they shipped me a new one, same faking pos cardboard sleeve, case cracked, disc readable. i wanted a NON BROKEN package, filed another claim.

they told me to f-off as replacement already sent. :ugh: :mad:

but then ive had instances where they shipped a package of bulbs, claimed that they lost it while in transit so shipped me another one. :confused:

i get 2 packages of the same thing on the same day. i told amazon i got both, u want one returned?

they said to keep them both for only the price of one order. :tup:

My trust has been broken. It's being shipped back for a refund. I'll take that $8 and invest in a $40 fluke. Not a big problem. Same with those fuses. They got shipped back this morning. I'll go to autozone and have the guy laugh at me when I ask him exactly what fuses I need to fit in the Civic and adapter.
