:hello:

Good morning!

Thursday... Week is almost over... It's my wife's birthday this weekend.

I already bought her an iPhone a month or so ago but she's terrible with surprises and I always like to get her *something* on her actual birthday...

So...

I ordered some stuff for her from Amazon, just a few t-shirts including what I *hope* is a replacement for a t-shirt she's been upset she lost for a few months (I am pretty sure I got the right one). She's been all through the closet twice trying to find it.

Anyway, so it's just coming in plain brown boxes. I told her I ordered some "guitar parts" from Amazon, and I've been saying I'm "too busy" to do anything with them, so when they come I'll just toss the boxes in a pile in my office to "open this weekend." :D

Nice davey! happy early bday to your wife. :D

If she knew I got her anything, she's be asking me, "Well what is it?" every 5 minutes until I ruined the surprise. She hates surprises... Well she likes them, but she hates the suspense leading up to them.

So I have to do it carefully. :icon17:

Flu shot yesterday. Whole body is achy today. Why did I get one....

Leingod 10-15-2015 07:09 AM

And the Z got bumped up to this weekend for storage. Need to buy 2 bottles of stabil, inflate tires, and grab my ez-pass/radar detector.

my friend has the same problem but he's a truck driver. just try pressing it straight flat footed and then it shouldn't pop. got to adjust. like a river flowing, through broken paths, it adjusts to find it's way... or if it's strong enough it just washes away everything.

I got insanly sick last year from the Flu. Was down and out for over a week. I think these are just the side effects of the shot since the virus is technically dead.

What about a brace or some form of deep massages?

my knee pops all the time, i sometimes have to stand up and turn my leg to the left/right so it can pop and then it feels better... i'm probably falling apart and don't know it yet :rofl2:

yah, i should probably check into this... it's not muscle related, more like the joint is popping. my wife said something about me being malnourished from the 5wk long illness ive suffered that might be contributing to this.

so ive been eating more and more and laying bricks. :D :ugh:

kenchan 10-15-2015 07:35 AM

mr.jar- wat is the consensus on the CVT on your new Accord sport sedan?

good? decent? bad? acceptable?

kenchan 10-15-2015 07:39 AM

if i get the IS i want to keep it in the garage... but my Z and G are in there. my Z is here to stay. my G is here to stay. hummmm...

these first world problems are killer...

kenchan 10-15-2015 07:40 AM

but i just paid off my house this year, i dont feel like taking on a loan for a new house with 3-4 garage. :ugh:

kenchan 10-15-2015 07:41 AM

but if my foot never cures then my Z and G are worthless metal to me. :ugh2:

Leingod 10-15-2015 07:41 AM

You could buy my 2013 Civic. Only 16k

kenchan 10-15-2015 07:41 AM

but if it was 5pm already i would be happier. :icon17: :ugh:

It may be the Sport model, but it is no sports car. For what it is, which is a daily four door sedan, the CVT is perfectly acceptable. It's better than any Nissan sedan I've driven with one :twocents:

Sorry about your foot :(

kenchan 10-15-2015 07:44 AM

so my 3 choices are below.. but the first 2 will require me to letgo my G too...

IS300 awd or IS350 awd (f-sport)
Q50S awd
accord sedan (sport) cvt

thanks for the input. yah, i dont really need a true sport sedan as my thought is that my foot will cure over the winter and i should be back in my Z and G by Spring (i hope).

in this case i'd just trade in my Fit to get the accord.

It's actually rather roomy for a "compact" sedan. And your kids could drive it for the next 300k miles! :rofl2:

I say F-sport otherwise.

yah, styling-wise i really like the f-sport and the accord sport sedan.
im not a huge fan of the Q50's styling. looks like it drove through rain and things started melting. :ugh:
