Sand papering now. This bolt def needs to be thinner. I'd need a sledge hammer to fit it back into those holes.

It was in there once, it will fit. I had to press the pedal in just a touch to get it to be aligned just right to get the pin back in. Be sure no dirt on shaft, no high spots from marring. Regrease if necc.

Not to say I told you so, but you shoulda just got the RJM assembly, you already have the old assembly out.

I got it in finally. I had to sand it profusely and then it slid back in. No way in hell was I doing that like it originally was. The blot is still wicked tight after it goes through all 3 holes and the little clip is back in place. Doubt it's going anywhere. I don't even feel like driving the damn thing after that ordeal.

GJ! Time for an icy cold drink in-hand!
