I can take the stock knob off without shredding it, but had to take a mallet to my oil drain plug.....

The DIY stuff doesn't look to bad to replace the spring. Should be doable.

hahaha!! nice... My best friend remove the stock knob of his G35 and he destroy it hahahaha!! too bad that they dont know about this forum after i tell him... The only way I remove the stock knob is when he looks too ugly to be in there :p I read everywhere that is a PITA to take it off :shakes head:
