yah, once i have like 10 layers (seriously) the thing finally starts to absorb the dressing and keep its black... until the next rain storm. :ugh:

on my dd i run DWS and that thing required like 30 coats of THICK app of tireshine before it finally started to maintain its black color after rain. :shakes head:

oh, and the tiredressing i use is meguiar's hotshine which can make most tires look like a glazed donut if too much is applied.

i only apply a thin coat on my potenza's. natural black color.

I hate almost all tireshine to begin with. lots of thick coats would really grind my gears lol

How's the oil though from it? I remember that if applied, I'd get some streaking heading down thicker wheels from the oils running off of the tire instead of absorbing.

Some reps got tossed around.

it's good stuff actually if used in light coats. i spray it into that foam applicator i posted and just rub it in real good. for the DW, i use a thick coat though and leave it alone for a few days before i apply another coat, etc.

i dont spray onto the sidewall so no issue for me. but yah, if applied too much and not fully dry it will sling on your door panels. :ugh:

i hate their endurance gel. thing is too thick.

madwi 06-17-2015 03:09 PM

Oh goodness, endurance gel sling is terrible lol. I dont think that stuff ever dries fully.

I use this as well -- sometimes. I have also used Meguiars Endurance successfully.

However, I have found some good stuff -- Adam's Super VRT.

It goes on easily, is not slimy and lasts...
