yeah, I am old, fat and slow now lol takes me a day and a half min. to do a full detail. Thats why I am anal about what touches my paint lol I prefer to do good upkeep vs polishing shitty marks out of the paint.

yah, that's about the pace im going too. then when you do like wheel wells and stuff, that takes up like 2hrs easy.

when i qd my car every week, i clean the brake calipers too when im done cleaning my wheels. i like clean calipers. :D

I was looking at a small RO for door jams and such. What 3" model/brand you use?

Heh, they are easier than you think. The hardest part is learning which way to move and the speed of moving. Fight it and you are going to have a bad time lol easy, fluid motions with right amount of polish and its pretty easy.

and for even smaller areas i use a Kiwi shoe polish applicator and do it by hand. :D

I'm still pissed I had to park my poor Z in the rain while my garage door got installed. I haven't had a chance to clean it up since then. :mad:

It's waaaaay beyond dusting with quick detailer, but I didn't actually drive it except for a few feet, no puddles or anything, so it's not really "get the hose and spotless rinse stuff out" dirty either.

I was thinking I'd do Griot's waterless - it's just some dust/pollen from the rainwater, should be OK, right? I have a 32-oz bottle I bought to try it out since you recommended it.

I cut up pads and glue them to wood Shish-kabob skewers lol can make them any shape and get into really tight spots like between emblem letters :tup:

yah definitely try the spray-on car wash. thing is an absolute must-have :tup:

I used this the other day after getting caught in the rain and having waterspots all over it the next day. Was very easy to use and left no marring. I went through about 25 MF towels doing the car.

yah, the water u dont use to wash/rinse the car, u use with your washing machine after the work is done. lol lots of towels to wash!
