So I was farting around on the Chive when I stumbled upon this photo.

This is a local man, he holds several World Records for pulling things. The fire department in the background is very close to GaleForce HQ.

I'm at the airport picking up my Mom. It's weird being here in casual clothes with no luggage.

madwi 03-21-2015 10:51 AM

Pulling out the broom and dust pan in 15. Time to clean up the wood shop.

No unicorns. I make whatever really. Current project in planning is a keyboard/nouse tray for the lazyboy chair :D Gotta game in comfort. :icon17:
We made a bunch of shelves and a work bench for dads models. He is getting serious now lol Ordering kits from Japan.
Funny side story:
( Click to show/hide )
We received a phone call from neighbor, they are both japanese. Dad orders models from japan and mail people just deliver to their house without looking at address, only looked that they are coming from Japan. :rofl2: They ended up dropping em off and laughed our asses off at the dumb mail people :icon17:

madwi 03-21-2015 02:05 PM

Maiden voyage of the C/F hood without hood pins was a success! Had to go around the neighbor hood at like 35, then 45 then onto road that was 55. All good, no odd flexing, scary movements. Went back home and checked the latches and checked the bolts everywhere. Looks good and latches real firm. Took it back out to expressway and wnet a couple mph over the limit, you know, just to be sure it was secure. I think it will be good until I can find a shop to get the aerocatch pins installed. Hopefully don't have to drive to Chicago but looking like that is closest place.
Vids to come

sounds good  are hood pins really necessary for cf hoods? thought the aerodynamics would keep the hood down. :icon17:

One last bump before I post up a FS thread :tiphat:

Here is the link I used to purchase it from earlier this year. There is a link to the sizing chart on the page.

Teespring Fairlady Z Hoodie

I paid $44 and change with shipping originally. I plan to post it FS at $40 shipped, but PM me for $5 $10 off that if you're interested. I will probably post it this weekend if there is no interest here :tiphat:

We just checked the tread on your tires the other day lol

None of her treads are over 5/32. And most are 3-4 :eekdance:

I told her she will need new tires soon. With Austin's rainy season approaching, she may want them sooner rather than later.

Today the wife and I turned over and weeded the front flower bed. We bought some compost and a few test stones for a border. Tomorrow we'll pick up mulch as well.

You have a lifetime worth of revs then

Each plant is worth 10 high revs :icon17:

Knowing my luck, hood pins are required :icon17: It latches really, really solid.
Yeah, dad went to lowe's the other day and came home with all the stuff to make a rather large battle scene with the models. Hes got guys standing around smoking and all kinds of crap lol. Good for him to stay busy and use his hands, although the cursing has gotten louder :icon17:
