Looking for a good pair of shoes

For ~$200 I can pick up a great pair of A*'s, are there any other recommendations.

I prefer Ecco brand. Here is a shot of the Atlanta Wingtip in black.

...or the Ecco Turn GTX, perhaps.

To drive in it's hard to beat Puma SpeedCats or Puma Replicats besides going to a real driving shoe (OMP, Oakley, Simpson)

For actual shoes, I really like my pair of Madden and Cole Haans

Got ones similar to these from Belk on Sale for like 120

my driving shoes are all piloti's.

the funny is most folks in japan only drive AT cars.. why bother wearing driving shoes in AT's. :ugh:

From what I understand Richard Griot bought the Piloti name. And in true Griot's fashion, raised the prices to ridiculous levels.

Not the first time Piloti has been resurrected either. They went under a couple of years ago, too.

I've still got a couple of pair (had 5 or 6 pair at one time), but won't pay the prices they want for them now.

Edit: I was incorrect, they're now owned by Canadian Tire. http://drivenwheels.com/piloti-drivi...ke-a-comeback/

Griot has sort of insinuated in his catalog that he was the one that brought them back.
