Carfax isn't always accurate when it comes to mileage. When I bought my 350z way back when, Carfax showed it had 15k miles one month, then a few months later it had been sold and only had 12k miles. There was a note saying that mileage inaccuracies are common, a lot of times someone at DOL will type in the wrong number, ect. Not a big deal.
