Camaro SS to 370Z
 

Whats up guys...
My name is Taylor, I am 23 and I am from OC. As much as I love my 2010 Camaro SS, I want to get a 1969 Camaro. My payments would be way too much for both so I thought I would pick up a slightly used 370z for a daily driver... it will lower my payments a couple hundred and free up some cash for the '69. If I wouldn't have gotten the Camaro back in 2010 my second choice was a Z. I have always loved Zs and my dad had a new one back in the late 80s. My car will be up for sale soon :( but I am looking forward to getting a Z! :driving: I already got a mod list started!

Thanks. No plans to mod the Z as much as I did the Camaro. But I do have a few mods planned. Now I just need to find one I want.

Thanks. I actually don't have the Z yet. My Camaro will be for sale probably by the end of the month, then I will be getting a Z.

what do you plan on getting?

2009 or 2010 with the sports package (I want the bigger brakes so I can paint em)... touring would be nice but is not that big of a deal to me. I am leaning towards black but would also consider white, grey or red. Trying to spend no more than 25k.

I just bought the Z emblems that replace the front and rear nissan emblems. I don't even have the car yet. :facepalm:

That's a bad a$$ SS. Very tastefully done. I still have a soft spot for one, hard to beat that sound. You will definitely need to add an exhaust to your mod list as the stock Z sounds flaccid in comparison. Pretty sure the parts for the Z are gonna hurt more than the Camaro did, make one of your mods a clear bra too. Nissan is notorious for thin paint.

Oh I plan on a loud exhaust...



I want this setup, but with a muffler delete instead. Cheaper than the AAM and its the same thing pretty much.

Thats nice and cheap for the mileage and year! I was looking at 09s and 10s at that price. I need to sell my car first or at least line up a buyer. Won't be for a couple more weeks.

Congrats. Me, I think i am going to get a camaro v6, probably a 2LT/RS, for daily driving. GM card sent me top off offer of $3k off on GM cars and it seems like i should take this deal so my Z can remain a garage queen :-)

Bummer! What about going to your local Carmax and having them buy it off you.

I doubt they will want it. It's got a CEL because of the mods, and they are illegal in CA. Plus they'd probably not give me as much as I want.

Try Autotrader.com, Craigslist.com. It will sell just takes time.

The salesman thats selling the Z said he can keep it for a bit longer to see if I sell my car. So maybe I will end up getting it.

The dealer had to release the hold deposit on the 370Z... I just need to sell my car already! :(
