Brendan, welcome to the forum. I actually have been waiting for you to sign up. Jeff gave me a hint that you'll sign up soon. Mike has been absence for too long. It's great to see a representative from our first Supporting Nissan dealer. Welcome :hello:. Judging by the posts above, looks like you'll fit right in ;).

Nice car(s)

Dude...WTF! I know aviation is a tight knit community, but that's just creepy...haha

Based on his Facebook updates it looks like he is taking the job and not passing on it. It just seems like a lot of my recently recalled friends have been whining about the airline and some of the issues (two days to relocate etc). I hope all the best for him though, he's a good guy.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone. Seems like a great community here.

Thanks for the car compliment! The E39 is mine, but the E90 and (sadly, because I want it) the E30 belong to friends of mine. The E90 was a replacement for my friends 350z. I don't really like the new 3, and 4 years later, he still misses his Z.

Nice! I could imagine the 130 in Antartica was quite interesting. Any truth in keeping the engines running the whole time it's there in case it won't restart? Heard that urban legend somewhere.

Not at the home field of McMurdo, but at every outlying station.

Well I don't work until Friday, so if you talk to him wish him luck and tell him thanks for being a good pilot. :tiphat:

He says thanks. He might be up tomorrow with the 414, so keep an eye out for him!

I'm still laughing about that...small world. That and I just ran into my cousin who lives in Ireland at a coffee shop just south of San Francisco. She's in town for a week for a company meeting, didn't tell anyone, but we bumped into each other at Peets coffee. Odd...

Talked to him on frequency tonight, I think he said he reports to Houston on the 5th.

Brendan@Bwalk 03-15-2010 12:35 PM

:bowrofl: that is too cool. He was coming back from Vegas if I recall correctly. Actually I should ask you...you had the data strip on him.

He's back on the 5th, one of my friends just hit the line, and another just passed on his recall since he is still with Mesa (I think it was Mesa...). Interesting times out there.
