Default Ideas on replacing stock cats

My current exhaust setup consists of AAM midpipe with AAM short tails. I'm now looking at replacing my stock cats to compliment my exhaust system.

I assume that even though I have AAM parts installed, I can install other manufacture cats replacement parts. I say this since my midpipe aligned with the stock cats.

So, what do you think I should go with? My main concern is that I'm able to pass state inspection when due.

Any cat of your choice should be fine. Comes down to personal preference I guess. I went with Z1 HFC's due to cost and availability. Plus I have always received excellent service from those guys.

how does the AAM short tails sound? i was thinking of doing the short tails with test pipes myself, just looking for a nice aggressive tone and not so much HP, 12 Horses isnt worth 1500$ to me. i would be interested in hearing some clips when you get it put together!
