On that note, I would always recommend LTH's (particularly PPE) over TP's, but its definitely more of a chore to get them on...

Would you say art pipes are more conservative sounding then berk hfc? I'm looking to get a low sounding exhaust and have read that they take some of the low end away. I think I'm going berk exhaust, the FI setup is a little too flashy for me.

Exactly my point. Does FI make the exhausts in California or is it imported from China with their name stamped on it? I'm not hating on any exhaust system but you should know who made it.

If you knew the bare minimum about them, they make all of their parts in house on an order by order basis.

their exhausts are all made in cali, in house, by hand, and per each order indivually. hence the 10-12 week wait times. well that and the very high demand.

not china and not on an assembly line. thats why FI is above all the big brand names.

i believe the only things they don't make in house are the exhaust tips. those get order and then they laser engrave the logo on them.

I have the Berk exhaust and went from Berk HFC to Motordyne ART pipes. The ART pipes are about 20% quieter than the HFC were.

Sorry. Missed your post, but looks like it has been taken care of.

I will play devils advocate here and add the Motordyne Shockwave to the list. I had the F.I with 12" resonators on my old car and the only complaint was the drone at highway speeds. Decided to try something different on the new car and went with motordyne. Significantly less drone and a completely different sound. Its hard to describe but I prefer it. Cold start is pretty tame surprisingly but above 3k is when it opens up. Only downside is the cost though. I haven't dynoed it but the car is more responsive downlow which is what I wanted. I never felt the extra power from the F.I. the service from both companies is perfect and both are amazing quality.

not a problem i like answering these questions.

the CF mufflers save weight vs the SS ones.

also they have a different sound vs the SS cans.

there is a slight increase in volume in the CF mufflers as well as the different tone i mentioned vs the SS ones.

i def went a different route than anyone with mine lol
