[QUOTE=Daishi;197022]After about a month of waiting the exhaust finally arrived and got the chance to install it the other day. It was worth the wait :)

FI Carbon Fiber Mufflers. No Resonators.

Packaging: The exhaust was packaged very well and wrapped with lots and lots of bubble wrap.. And i mean lots to the point that i needed to take a beer break after it was all off lol.

Quality: The welds on the exhaust are very good one of the best ive seen from a custom made exhaust. This exhaust will last you the lifetime of the car easily. Full T-304 stainless steel and Tig welded. Although im not sure how the Carbon Fiber will hold up through the winter and rocks and such.. Only time will tell.. I also noticed there is a gap between the carbon fiber and the muffler ive heard other people say the same thing.. It has not become a problem of any kind and looks to be normal. Hopefully tony can shed some light on the subject.

Installation: Installation was very easy, Tony emails you a set of instructions that are detailed with pictures. Honestly look over the instructions once and thats all you really need. As I only have about 2000 miles on my car the nuts and bolts came out no problem. Everything Fit as it should and bolted right up without any special adjusting. The only problem i ran into was the passenger muffler sits a little higher than the drivers side muffler. To fix this issue i took the passenger side hangar off and put 2 washers on each bolt to bring the muffler down slightly which did the trick and it now sits perfectly even.

As far as cutting the heat shield not much needs to be cut off if any and tony provides heat wrap for the fuel line that is now exposed due to removing a plastic cover. Dont worry the fuel line is far enough away not to cause a problem especially for thos with Carbon Fiber mufflers. the CF stays cool to the touch and does not really get hot at all. Tony provides all high quality gaskets, nuts and bolts. There is no cliff notes to installing this exhaust it just bolts right up and fits great the first time around.

Sound: WOW.. Low rpm 3500 rpm and under the exhaust sounds VERY DEEP. Above that the car turns into a ferrari with a beautiful high pitched but not annoying note. After reading what everyone was saying about the 18" resonators being more than enough as far as sound went i was a little afraid of how loud the exhaust might be without any resonators, But the exhaust was not loud at all and should not get you pulled over.

Overall I give the exhaust a 10 out of 10. The exhaust sounds great, fits great and looks great and offers a great value compared to the competition. If you were on the fence about purchasing this exhaust what are you waiting for? buy it now, you will not be dissapointed

This is a very true review. I am not much of a review writer but if I was gonna write one it sounds a lot like this. Mine lined up on installation and I did not need any washers would be the main difference. I would not compare the exhaust to a Ferrari but it does have a very intoxicating pitch to it that sounds awesome ! I have the 18" resonators and I am getting the HFC put on right now and I gained 17.8 whp and 15 lb/ft of tourqe before the HFC on a DD dyno. So needless to say the butt dyno is happy so far ! The 18" resonators are plenty loud for me and there is little to no drone while driving which is a plus. The shop I took the exhaust to to do the install and before/after dyno was very impressed with the craftsmanship of the exhaust and this shop does everything in house as far as head/block work to tuning and ground up builds so that was pretty cool. +100 rep points to Tony for an amazing exhaust !:happydance:

nice one B1nks!

glad to here the dyno results had very good gains...

I'm hanging out to see what mine will pull on the Dyno. With 256hp Stock, 271hp with the G3's. I know i might be pushing it, but would love to see 300hp show up on the Dyno.

Then again the HP gain honestly is secondary for myself and is just a great byproduct of the exhaust. I'm more after the great sound this set-up is giving.

Oh BTW great review Daishi:tup:. This is so good for me to see as you have the exact car as myself. Same Colour and Wheels so i can get a great idea of what i can really expect on my car.

FI sound.

Tony installed an exhaust system on my “G” (37S-AT) in March of this year and wow, what a difference. The run note is low but strong at idle, and blazing at a high RPM with a low pitch, kind of like the note on a DB9. One draw back on my set up is that it has a low drone at 3000 RPM, which is the 35 and 55 mile per hour range, the slow and fast limits for most streets. So now, I usually drive in the “Trip” mode, which will pass the drone note at approximately 3200 RPM’s, and that is just right. Some inline baffles may find remedy for the drone but there is a chance that the note may change.

Great exhaust! I'd love to hear it in person someday, since you're local.

Drone... that's what I'm worried about. I ordered HFCs just incase the 18" res are not enough for me. I'll install the CBE first and if I need more noise I will put the HFCs in. If not I'll just sell them here at a discount. :)

I can't wait. Shipping this week. All these reviews. I can't wait to get mine and post a review and videos of my own. :D
