What should to do before install exhaust system

The only thing to be careful of is NOT to use impact tools while doing this. Our O2 sensors are very fragile with regards to the vibration of air tools

The only thing to be careful of is NOT to use impact tools while doing this. Our O2 sensors are very fragile with regards to the vibration of air tools and will break (internally) as a result. Beyond that, there is no reason that you should get a CEL by just adding a CBE.
Streetlife and Zteve like this.

All you are doing is unbolting a few bolts and pulling old exhaust off and bolting the new one on. The battery can stay connected with no issues.

True, but many people suggest unplugging the battery and letting everything run dead as a soft ECU reset so that it recalibrates the A/F mixture.

Not sure if this is valid, but I did it after installing HFCs and CBE. No harm in it; my subjective assessment is that it pulls a little harder.
