I keep thinking about making some sort of shield for this very reason. Something small, half moon shaped, maybe painted black so you cant see it to cup the lower

I keep thinking about making some sort of shield for this very reason. Something small, half moon shaped, maybe painted black so you cant see it to cup the lower part of the cans. Just to help with small scratches like this. Obviously it would do no good if you hit something really hard.
