looks like maybe i'll finally have someone ride along and film mine.

As stated very clearly in the instructions you do it any way possible to get the fastest time. Every single car I showed both stock and modified were done my way or 1/4 mile times. That means balls to the wall blowing by 50. All 4 times we have on this page are also clearly done this way in the videos they posted. I believe though Megan is so slow because he rounded that corner in 3rd and clearly 2nd to 3rd is the fastest and on these cars you have to have rise the rev limiter like I have so you don't switch into 4th.

well my 1/4 is 12.89 @ 111mph i think my 50-100 will be pretty good then lol

pretty sure i can pull 50-100 in 4-5 seconds honestly. i'll have to test this theroy this weekend since it's rain for the next few days it seems.

ANMVQ 10-07-2014 07:40 AM

OK cause everyone skip me LOL I'm guessing the 50-100 run is in 5th? I wanna test this also. :/

What do you have done? Cause those are turbo times as shown by phunk and firehawk.

I was editing when you posted this...

Nvm saw in a post you're all stock even with a full tank at times. I was 3361lbs bone stock full tank all fluids. I'm sure you're a little lighter with added performance parts and catless. Let's call it 3300lbs. Plus you add what? 160? So you're 3460lbs total. You made 324hp (not sure what the correction factor was but I bet STD on a Dynojet?) therefore you're moving 10.68lbs per HP.

Currently with me I'm sitting at 3220lbs. Now if I were to believe my Dynojet (which I don't) I'm putting down a sad 302hp but in SAE but I'll use it anyways. I come in at 10.66lbs per HP. So I'm better and should be faster. I see no way for you to drop over a second when your HP per weight ratio isn't there. Granted the 7at might shift faster but I can always redo it with my iPhone so I can see the tach and FFS. I'd guess a drop of about .1-.2 if I did that. Only way I see you being that much faster is if you cheat and do it down a hill. Just my 0.02, not trying to start a fight. Just using simple math here.

too technical i prefer having the most important part being the driver mod :stirthepot:

also i highly highly doubt i'm at 3400 lbs 3250-3300 max.

i'll do a test this weekend if i have the time. also i may even so a slo-mo one for fun to watch the tach/mph needles lol

also i wouldnt cheat by a downhill. what kind of fgt would do that? i enjoy knowing i did something on the same level playing field as others.....and doing better

Well the vehicle weight you posted was gross and no fluids. My sport along with many others have shown mid 3300. You look like 160 so your motor has to move at least 3460. I know you're exhaust is gutted so you lost at least 30-40-60 lbs, who knows.

Look at the 09 gtr. 3900 almost 4000 gross. Add a good 200 lbs to that. Stock dyno is mid to low 400's. Hp to weight ratio is 9.3 and it runs 6.0 50-100. I don't think you'll break mid 6.

PS, as for the driver mod comment...this is why this test is done. It pulls the driver out! All you do is smash the throttle. A monkey could run your car, my car, anyone's car the exact same time. My car has just 1 shift. Is the 7at faster? Probably over me, by what? A tenth? I'm not slow.

yea the driver mod part was a joke based on it's just smashing gas and holding steady

Ya I gotta see video and time slip. What was your 60ft? 1/8th? Those look like dyno queen numbers to me imho. Not saying your a bad driver but you have minimal mods on that car, where you on stock tires and rims?, what's your elevation from sea level, what was the weather that day?. So many factors are in play with that time you posted and the numbers. Def. a dynojet try your baby on a mustang dyno aka "heart breaker dyno". Sorry synolimit had to chime when I saw the email for the thread. END OF RANT.

Hey bud I checked my paypal I didn't see the invoice yet?

I've seen it, it's real. He has it posted somewhere. The number is high, that's why I guessed STD dynojet. That numbers whatever. I actually hate mustang because its all computer controlled. They can read whatever you want them to. A heart breaker is my dyno (superflow AWD in STP). A dynojet can get recalibrated but you only have 3 correction factors and it will always read the same.

Sorry, got slammed at the hospital last night!! Sending soon.
