Yea, they're bent. :shakes head: Did it trying to separate the top from the gas tank. Used a little too much muscle, and a bad angle. They're still usable. But it makes removing and installing the top hard.

Thank you. :tiphat:

Got the 3D printer up and running a couple days ago. Been practicing printing small pieces of the manifold to glue together. Still learning how to use this thing better, but overall its meeting its intended purpose. I just would like to figure out how to reduce warping in the parts to keep a greater accuracy. I will post up a pic or two this weekend. I have already decided to make a little change LOL so that means its definitely helping me.

I had no idea how SLOWWWWW these things are, LOL. takes like 9 hours to print a small chunk of the manifold.

9 hrs uh. That gives you enough time to knock out a quicky,:nutswinger: and have time for a nice lunch. OR coming up with new parts. :stirthepot:

Still going to be a while. Waiting around for the casting guy to begin working with me. Spring/summer time is the goal! Few more months to go.

Brandon had a chance to finish the 35HR reverse engineering for me, so now we officially have perfected the 2 slightly different bolt patterns and relationships with the ports. For those who didnt know, we are making the cast portion compatible with both HR and VHR engines, we will only have to drill a slightly different bolt pattern to the flange during secondary machining processes for either engine... the ports themselves are identical in shape and spacing.

This week I will be updating the CAD and sending off the file to the tooling shop for the final quote and ETA on the cast portion of the manifold. He says he is ready to start working on the project with me. Then I can get back with pictures and maybe some rough price estimates.
