ArmyTrix F1 Exhaust system
Does anyone know anything about this beauty?!?!?
Nissan 370Z - Armytrix world-class titanium & stainless cat-back performance valvetronic exhaust system for Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, M-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, GT-R R35 This may be one of the most beautiful exhaust notes available for our car! And btw, I am completely FI exhaust biased but wow. |
Still has the Y pipe (why?!) and looks Chinese made. I would pass.
If I'm understanding this correctly, it looks like the exhaust can be variably choked or opened with a switch...
In theory it means you could tune it (assuming the settings can be automatic, controlled by a window switch) for optimal flow based on load -- narrower for low load, theoretically resulting in greater low speed torque, and wide open at high load, WOT, for greater top end. How much of a difference this would make as compared to any other Y-pipe set up (or as compared to an H-pipe) is unclear -- but it's a nice idea. That said, whenever VVEL tuning becomes common, you will be able to make similar adjustments (on the intake side) electronically rather than mechanically. Also, anything that says "contact us for quote" sounds terrifyingly expensive... they make stuff for high end exotics, I see... |
I requested a quote, hahaha!
it almost looks like the megan OE-RS exhaust but with a way to make the exhaust quiet again
EDIT The valve is vacuum actuated which is pretty cool imo, almost like the corvette, that would mean you can tune for daily driving when its closed and when you WOT tune, its open providing the best flow possible |
Ohhhhhhhh God I need dissssssss.... Dat exhaust note :happydance: let us know how much this beautiful piece of work costs!!!
its not full titanium is it? Sounds like amuse exhaust but louder.
No dynos or weight specs. it only says 5-7% increase over stock. Really like the sound of this exhaust, not so much when the valve is closed though. It does mention an automatic TPS/RPM. what does that mean? |

Not sure. Is this a quality exhaust. Idk much about welding but are those welds good? Idk I'm just asking. Don't wanna drop 2k in an exhaust and it be crappy.

Oh dear Lord baby Jesus I hope not.
But is this a high quality exhaust? Like high end material and welds?
For the The full set GT-R R35 SS Valvetronic Exhaust System comes with down pipe, Y pipe, Mid pipe, Valvetronic mufflers, Quattro tips, price is USD $5,450. Armytrix GT-R Evolution system
The full set 370Z SS Valvetronic Exhaust System comes with Cat-bypass pipe, Y pipe, Mid pipe, Valvetronic mufflers, Quattro tips, price is USD $4500 |
That Y pipe looks suspiciously like an eBay Y pipe... And that muffler looks meh. The mid pipe looks like CNT. IDK...
Fail!!!!

Super eBay special that is just polished to high hell
I don't know... these guys make exhaust for Lamborghini and Ferrari.
Here is some more info Technology - Armytrix world-class titanium & stainless cat-back performance valvetronic exhaust system for Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, M-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, GT-R R35 |
Out sourcing...even if they designed it they probably higher a company to make the lower end exhausts, go look at their products compare the exotics to the nissan, bmw, mini etc...one does not look like the other...again just a hypothesis, no facts to back it up.
I just found it very interesting and clean sounding.
I love my arts with FI. Just want more loud and am now trying to sell to get GTHAUS or non-res FI pipes. |
Damn I thought it sounded really nice.
If it works as claimed, its a cleverly designed piece of kit, but it is NOT worth over 4 grand.
The gains simply aren't worth it -- the exhaust costs more than 15% the value of the whole car. Maybe for a Ferrari, but not for a Z. |
Spend that money on a TT kit.

Amuse titanium headers cost more than this whole system.
Got a price quote for just over $3k. Curiosity got the best of me. I think I'll just buy some FI LTH and put it into my car and just imagine I have a remote that changes the sound of my exhaust
I got quoted 3250 USD. Jesus.
I don't know why everyone thinks it can be bad just because it is Chinese made. The iPE Innotech exhaust is Chinese made and has good reputation. Hell, it even goes on some of the LB Performance cars. The reason this exhaust costs so much compared to other types is because of the valve system that it has. If you look at other systems with this it costs about just as much (PowerCraft, Top Secret, iPE Innotech).

hell for that much you can buy a mid pipe and rear canister from powerhouse amuse and from the pics that exhaust doesn't even look titanium most likely SS the welds looks like dimes (beautiful welds none the less) titanium welds look like mercury plus the bends on those pipes are way to hardcore for titanium they would be prone to cracking.... thats why if you look at the titanium JDM exhausts they have multiple pie cuts and are all welded together.... |
Yep, 3250....about 2250 too much, haha!
It sounds good, but for $2000 more than most other SS exhausts, not worth. (site says it's stainless steel).
Ya I'd much rather have an exhuast that sounds like this 370z amuse full exhaust system - YouTube
Did anyone see the gains that they report on the site? 18whp 27tq? If that is true that is pretty impressive.

the saclam is the only jdm part i would give one of my... well not nuts but something else to own.
I would give both nuts for a 370z with amuse body kit and full exhaust
If it were that cheap we ALL would do that.
I would rather have the GTHAUS exhaust, but that is my two cents.
