GT Motoring 12-19-2008 01:38 PM

i cant tell if its production spec or not, but the mod pipe looks to be stainless, and rear section is Ti.

It looks like they moc't up the rear section only, and the mid-pipe is the OEM exhaust...

That would be $581.00 according to the value of the Yen/Dollar as of 12/22

Anyone have a link to a sound clip???

Braden

LiquidZ 12-22-2008 11:26 PM

Thanks guys.

Slidefox 12-22-2008 11:38 PM

Sounds about right for a Mine's product...

shumby 12-23-2008 02:01 AM

not a bad price.

18rgcelica73 12-23-2008 10:37 AM

Wow that really looks like a very well put together product though. I wanna know how much better over stock it flows.

LiquidZ 12-26-2008 05:41 PM

I'm anxiously awaiting more details on this product.

18rgcelica73 12-27-2008 03:18 PM

Yeah me as well, this doesn't affect smog control on the car does it?

Slidefox 12-27-2008 04:26 PM

Shouldn't.... anything after the cats in technically just "pipe"

Material-wise, it's just metal. But the idea is that they bend and test every bend to it's performance, quality, flow, and durability.

If you just put any pipe through, it'd be a guess as to whether or not you'll even benefit from it.

True, but the question was if it would affect smog, which it shouldn't. Now if your talking performance gains; then pipe diameter, bends, baffling will all affect performance.

Crash 12-27-2008 04:54 PM

Won't affect the the smog at all. At least, the sniffer won't see a difference.

LiquidZ 01-12-2009 06:31 PM

Any updates on this piece?

Definitely my favorite.

Black kNight 01-15-2009 08:59 AM

I hope someone can get sound clip for this car-back Exhaust

245ONQEW 02-09-2009 02:29 PM

I will lurk the Mine's website and report back. I have always been a big fan of Mine's when it comes to their Nissan products.

Report:
MSRP on Mine's website is 294,000Y which equates to $3,214.58 USD as at Feb 9, 2009.

Too rich for my blood, especially with stillen's at 1200 or so. Too bad because I really liked th TI and the angle cut tips. oh well.

JoeyD 03-01-2009 11:17 AM

I like this exhaust. The welds, bends, and tips are all perfect. The fact that it is Ti is just gravy. I've recently become a fan of Mine's there design philosophy mirrors mine exactly. Make it subtle, make it functional, and make it right.

I would be curious to see exactly how much of a price difference making the Stillen piece out of Ti would cause.

LiquidZ 03-01-2009 11:57 AM

Well, this no longer my favorite due to the price, but I was expecting that.

I hope the Stillen and GTM units shed considerable weight.

+1

I'm sure they will shed some weight, theres a lot of extra metal in the stock setup..

I like this design, but even with the Yen tanking, it still is super expensive...
