Material-wise, it's just metal. But the idea is that they bend and test every bend to it's performance, quality, flow, and durability.

If you just put any pipe through, it'd be a guess as to whether or not you'll even benefit from it.

True, but the question was if it would affect smog, which it shouldn't. Now if your talking performance gains; then pipe diameter, bends, baffling will all affect performance.

Won't affect the the smog at all. At least, the sniffer won't see a difference.

I will lurk the Mine's website and report back. I have always been a big fan of Mine's when it comes to their Nissan products.

Report:
MSRP on Mine's website is 294,000Y which equates to $3,214.58 USD as at Feb 9, 2009.

Too rich for my blood, especially with stillen's at 1200 or so. Too bad because I really liked th TI and the angle cut tips. oh well.

I like this exhaust. The welds, bends, and tips are all perfect. The fact that it is Ti is just gravy. I've recently become a fan of Mine's there design philosophy mirrors mine exactly. Make it subtle, make it functional, and make it right.

I would be curious to see exactly how much of a price difference making the Stillen piece out of Ti would cause.

Well, this no longer my favorite due to the price, but I was expecting that.

I hope the Stillen and GTM units shed considerable weight.

+1

I'm sure they will shed some weight, theres a lot of extra metal in the stock setup..

I like this design, but even with the Yen tanking, it still is super expensive...

very nice looking exhaust. I agree with everyone on the price, but then again, Thats actually typical for any TI exhaust. Aside from asthetics, i gurantee that the weight savings on a typical TI exhaust system is around 60 to 70 percent lighter. Price aside, i love the titanium exhaust sound. Very exotic:tup:
