$5,000 budget for 370z parts, Need advice.

Yes, true.....I just cant believe I spent all that....and I coulda had twin turbo by now thru Altered....for about 4K less! Live and learn...live and learn!

Thanks! Actually had a guy in a fully modded, fully sponsored 350 back up and tell me he liked MY car! And here I was seeing his car thinking WOW! his car looks awesome!

To have him do that was really cool! He specifically said:

You do realize that paying 5k for wheels + tires is silly? No one ever pays that much... RE11s are what 1200 for all 4s at most... so you paid 3800 for wheels? OUCH man... those better have been custom offsets... lol

You're not looking into it correctly. First, the tires mounted and balanced cost more than that, then there are the TPMS sensors which are $450, most 1 piece Volks go for around $3500. They are worth it to most.
