It is a proven combination, many have run that setup with great results. I used to run Berk HFCs with the stock exhaust and added a Tanabe Y pipe after. I ended up dyno'ing around the same amount of power that a cat-back exhaust would add so the gains are there. As for sound, it basically amplifies the sound of the stock exhaust if you like that type of sound but want more volume.

I had just the Berk HFC's with my stock exhaust and the but dyno approved.
The sound was more aggressive but not loud at all. I can't say that anymore as I have the Berk CBE along with CNT resonated test pipes. It's pretty loud now. But no rasp and no drone.

What was the question again?

what kind of gains did you guys get from the HFC's. Are they more high/low end power?
