I could make a funny here....but ill refrain from doing so.
:)
There is a proper way we have to do things...and a reason behind doing them.
I know everyone wants something released yesterday....and who to say there are multiple items being worked on at once?
;)

mdxj 06-14-2013 01:44 PM

Can't wait too see the results, although I am currently save up for your control arms!

Yesterday would be "acceptable". The day before yesterday would be "good" :happydance:

Rusty 06-14-2013 04:24 PM

Should have been last month. That would have been soon enough. LOL

Just an FYI.. the baseline was done on the test car yesterday 284 hp and 240 TQ.
The material for the headers is on the way. We have a couple things that we are going to attempt and looking at some options.
Pretty stoked on this...
On the manifold ... Hope to have a conversation today that would push it forward sooner.

Anything good come out of the conversation?

Dwnshift 06-19-2013 07:11 AM

Yes.
We have Watkins Glenn next week so we need to get through that race.
After that there is a bit of a break so hopefully it can push forward.

Yes but no
Things are moving forward but I don't have any pictures ,dyno graphs or even a sketch on anything super fun and exciting....i wish I did.
;)
All I can say is that some solid steps to move forward are happening.
The 8 hour drive to Watkins Glen had some serious discussions regarding parts....and seriously helped the time pass as its a terribly boring drive.
;)
The headers are going to be sort of a "testing the waters"
Not everyone gets excited about sway bars and front control arms that about the most bitchin stellar performers that one could design or buy.....
But just about everyone loves MoRe PoWeR

FPenvy 07-01-2013 02:56 PM

but.......i thought this was a intake manifold thread? :ugh2:

all i see is talk of headers and other things that arent a intake manifold lol

just sayin.....in for more details

As soon as you have a manifold ready to go make sure to let me know.

I have a feeling that with the manifold and headers, I'll be giving Kevin another sizable chunk of money.

I just have one question, are yall thinking of headers that allow me to use my high flow caticylic converters or will it be the long tube style and deleat them?

Updates?

Dwnshift 07-25-2013 09:11 PM

I have a couple parts to test in the next couple of weeks.... And of course results will be posted.
In my teaser thread I posted baseline dyno pulls on my 2009 Nismo.
I have 3 different items to test but awaiting my car back from the fabricator.

Didn't think the intake mani was even more than thought at the moment.

no no no that sounds like an illegal activity one may or may notbe able to partake of in vegas, marriage is like trading more money for almost equal amounts of increased happiness and sadness bundled up with never being allowed to be right ever again.

Dwnshift 07-27-2013 06:11 AM

Headers, test pipes and prototype manifold schtuff.
And no..... there won't be any pictures.

Dwnshift 07-27-2013 03:09 PM

Prototype stuff won't be pretty... Just give us a direction and to see what gains there could be.
Results are speak louder than pictures.
;)
