I got used to the hiss. Hated it at first but now I can accept it. There are more good sounds than bad sounds.

IF you never attempted the install of turbos....then pay to get installed right the first time.:tiphat:

Exactly I was realy worried at first that I had an exhaust leak. I was SOOOOOO relieved when I did my research and its a common thing with after market CBE especially with TP's or HFC.

Shadezz that's what I'm leaning towards. I have a few friends that are pro mechanics and if we can all get together and have all the proper tools to pull it off succesfully without a doubt then I'll give the green light. If not I will have to wait till early next year and send it to Precision R in San Antonio for install and tune. I'm also thinking of selling my wheels and tires for a light weight wheel and street slick tires now.

1. No you do not, but for the sound I would and extra HP!!! (only 155.00)
2. Yes the sound will be a bit more quite I assume. Yes HP gains!!
3. I did not, but Dzel had to put spacers on his cross member. Easy fix.

4. I cant say more how happy I am to have a great sounding exhaust for under 500 bucks...stainless steel and tig welds at that. I would pull the trigger again anytime and would tell everyone else the same!!!:driving:

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll go with the Y pipe as well. Have you had any codes pop? This is my daily driver and I dont have time to deal with codes and such...just too much going on; been there done that. Thats how I ended up in the Z.

If ya have "PRO Mechanics" that would guide and help through the process...then I say go for it. Nothing better then hands on builds and learning a few new things on the way. Promise to take many photos as you do it please.

Definitely and I do want to that way I know where all my parts go and how it all comes together. And to have that feeling when you first start it up must be amazing!
