Very interested in this on a set of muffler delete pipes like the AAM short tails.

Just ran this idea across with our engineer, and this was his response verbatim "Im for it.. they work - ive got great experiences with them."

No time frame, as he needs to figure out the math on how long the j-pipe or resonator needs to actually be to cancel out as much rasp/drone, then we will play around with where and how the pipe will be placed :)

I wish I can like things on my government computers, because I like how AAM works in real time to try new things when someone has an idea

outstanding response! If you can make a short tail with this on it, and still keep it decently cheaper than leading catbacks. it should be very successful.

This would be awesome! I am definitely in for it! Keep us posted on updates.

It will probably end up looking like the HKS resonator 'grenades' above the mufflers, just without the mufflers. I know my HKS system resonates out most of the drone and rasp through all the frequencies. Makes for an awesome sounding exhaust at both idle/cruise and when I nail it to the floor!

Why are companies like Fast Intentions completely ignoring this aspect of their products?? They could easily account for this on each catback they design and build them with the side resonators already attached. Is it laziness, greed, what? The drone on the Fast Intentions catback with 18" resonator (inline, not like these) and stock cats is ridiculously annoying.

Everything in life is about money. Im sure no one has tried it yet due to cost of r & d and such.

The only real reason I can see is that different combinations of cats, exhaust headers and catback exhausts would make picking one size Helmhoktz resonators impossible. But they could at least put one on for the base config of stock cats/headers with their catback exhaust. This is poorly-discussed aspect of their exhausts on this form as this is the primary reason I will be paying labor costs again to have this exhaust removed, plus taking a loss in the form of a restocking fee since it now not be sold as new (it's all of 48 hours old).

Its been done and is in use in some hfc's that are available for our car. Had you researched more, you would know this.
