Well, it seems like the Georgia members have an advantage then on the rest of us since I talked to them and it's only something they can do at their shop and he would not disclose to em what it was either, haha.

Let's not forget that we're probably looking at STD numbers, so the numbers are going to show as higher. About 4%?

STD:
Air Temperature: 60F
Absolute Pressure: 29.92 inches Hg
Relative Humidity: 0%

SAE:
Air Temperature: 77F
Absolute Pressure: 29.23 inches Hg
Relative Humidity: 0%

I do know a lot of shops use a 350z lower manifold. That's one thing.

Now Z1 will not tell anyone anything about this there personal mod. So months ago I decided to find out. After many talks to other shops and research it came down to ONE of TWO things or BOTH. As I said before the 350Z lower intake manifold is one. I did learn that Z1 only charges for labor for there mod. So that got me thinking. Do they swap the 370Z LM for the
350Z LM with a even core charge? Maybe that's one of two. But after discussion with many shops and researching all NA mods along with FI mods that deal with vacuum/ pressure it comes to my conclusion that the PCV valve check valve is being bored out and when combined with a tune the extra power is extracted. Tell me I'm wrong?

I wouldnt be surprised after I showed the big miss allignment of the the lower intake manifold to the upper plenum (plastic IM.) That they did the test and there was gain on that . This is possibly one of their *secret mod* who knows untill they disclosure it.

The pcv valve is plausible as I heard the same previously on other platform.

They probably use the 350z lower manifold to use the HR intake manifold. This is to avoid to purchase the M370 of motordyne.

Baer, you're killing us! haha. Close as in that's the part they mod plus something else or close a sin the same idea but on a different part that is related? Give us some more hints, man! I feel like Z1 has their customers sign a NDA, lol. If they tell, they will be forced to trade their Zs in for Priuses

SPOHN 09-15-2013 03:22 PM

I just told you guys. This is why everyday I'm so close to being done with this site. You don't listen and when you do you question that. Geez. So blind to see the games that are played. Matter fact I lied to throw you away for the truth. Baer and I are in a conspiracy.

Baer383 09-15-2013 03:26 PM

You guys don't understand I didn't either till I started using Uprev and I was asking tuners for some pointers and all I got was the cold shoulder and when I asked John @ Z1 why and he told me that they work really hard to come up with tricks in tuning with Uprev so they don't what to tell their secrets.

Lucky John took a couple hours out of his day to show me how to use the software, kind of see where I'm going with this.

brucelidat 09-15-2013 03:27 PM

Sorry Spohn, but you said that was what you thoutgh they did but weren't sure and Baer, who says he knows said close so we all just want some confirmation is all. We definitely heard what you said and it's great info and it seems like it's 90% of the way there, we are just wondering what that last 10% is.

It'd be all good if they could find a way to make this mod available to people who aren't close enough to go to them. They'd have a bunch of customers.

So are you saying they are working on a way for us west coasters to get this through them? If that's true, I'm cool with that. Can't wait for press release, price, results, etc. then.
