I'm not trying to discredit you, or Z1. You're both good people.

Just that it seems kind of odd to say that a certain setup is "capped" at a specific HP level, when we all know that there are so many variables that go into play when dynoing that it could read anything the owner would.... or would not, want to see.

I think it was more based on my setup of full boltons then installing these headers would cap me around 324 unl3ss I went test ipes or art. I ordered this stuff 06/5 and I believe the parts have arrived at aam but I havent picked a shop here in houston yet to ship them to for the installation. Seems like its taking forever

I'm looking forward to your progress, and to see just where you do end up at.

Yes, I believe these are just estimates based on their experiences. They estimated with the headers and HFCs, I could probably pull about 320whp, a few more if I had CAI, and probably 330s with TPs. Dynos obviously vary so these are just estimate on what you can expect with certain mods. It's nothing official.

I want the Tomei exhaust. But they need to make a 3" Y pipe

My thoughts are what will these headers do with MD ART pipes and an FI cbe...

Cause that's my plan. I will most likely have to do HFCs due to state regulations, but ART pipes would be my desired path.

brucelidat 07-31-2013 03:11 PM

You'd be in line with me then since I have a FI cbe.

ZBro16 07-31-2013 03:12 PM

I like their headers, but I will buy only when I can use the FI RTPs. Until then, I wait =)

the horse is dead and i just punched it.

They had said that they would be creating headers with the HR flange in the near future. It's just a matter of when it will happen. Also they mentioned that it would be an additional $150-$200 with the HR flange version.

Not worth it IMO over a flange shape, as said before test pipes are less expensive as well...you could buy this setup, save at least 300 bucks now(or maybe more later if they raise the base price), then sell or scrap your oe cats and buy de cats if you really needed them, plenty avaliable on other forums, plus no waiting, these make power, the butt dyno told me, and the real dyno will tell me on august 13th.

No need to hope. :) it should definitely make more power.
