HFCs will probably give u more hp, but the gen 3 looks soooo good when u open your hood

DEpointfive0 12-30-2012 08:30 PM

Intakes will give you more HP, do that, THEN HFCs

nmjaxx9 12-30-2012 10:18 PM

If I understand OPs question then he wants the mod that wll gain him the most HP, for me none of the above.

It would be headers, specifically long tube headers. Op take a look at this, dyno proven almost 23whp on a stock 370z. http://http://www.ppeengineering.com...issan/370z.php I dont think the gen 3s, or any hfcs can give you that. :tiphat:

DEpointfive0 12-30-2012 10:31 PM

^I guess, but long tube headers are to expensive and the install is so expensive, I never understand why people would do that before an intake or any other mod.
For the cost of LTH's I'd recommend G3's, HFC's, and a Motordyne intake manifold... And you'll still be ahead of the game

Well the long tube headers replace the stock cats, so there would be no need for HFCs. :tiphat:

Yeah, I understand, but the cost of install is moronically high, so if you're really going to squeeze every HP out without messing with the headers, HFCs or test pipes are the way to go

Unless you DIY :rofl2: Plus Op never said he was looking for the most cost effective method, just the most HP. :icon17:

But yeah I would still go headers if money wasnt an issue and Op wants the most hp gains :driving:

Well given his options I dont think thats in his range.:bowrofl:

But yeah given his list of choices LTH will gain him the most HP, whether he goes that direction is up to him :tiphat:

I'd still do intakes first, the cats won't get you much MORE gains...

Gen 3's and then ARK test pipes!
