I forgot to mention that the g37 exhaust picked up about 12 whp. The 370z should be around the same or a bit more since its 2 inches shorter:tup: |
Just added the video made by Mackin Industries via YOU TUBE on OP

Whats the story with MXP? I've heard stories of them being 'our' powerhouse amuse or whatever...are they a subsid of some JDM company making exhausts over here? It was a brief convo I heard some guys talking about.

I love how the exhaust sets off car alarms at the end. That thing sounds LOUD, can't imagine what its like with HFCs. Looks good.

That thing sounds as good as it looks! Very nice, me likes.

Through strong relationship with the world's most prestigious manufacturers, Mackin Industries is building networks of cooperation and trust on a global scale. They started making their own exhaust last year for the evo x and bmw m3. The G37 MXP exhaust was well received by the Infiniti community, one of the best sounding exhaust that was available G37 with minimal drone, great ground clearance, superb quality including the welds, Fully polished Stainless steel pipes and flanges. Not to mention adjustable TIP'S for those who might want to add on a diffuser or any rear body kits I'm speaking from experience, Drove my G37 for 2 weeks straight with the MXP exhaust and i can feel the difference accross the power band, The H PIPE design is my favorite so far with on the VQHR motor since i don't feel any low end torque loss unlike the other exhaust i had before and i've pretty much tried it all. Hope that helps:hello: |
Very nice exhaust.

 1:20s to 1:32s sick! I think the person holding the camera wasn't too careful and was pressing (on or off) on the microphone hole. That's why in the interior video sound wasn't same level. Thanks for the clip

What's the weight on this exhaust?

We have worked with a couple of the MXP downpipes (for GTR and Evo X) and the quality has been nice. Fitment was good on the units we've installed here. I'm glad they're starting to come out with more exhaust systems.
I dug up the dyno information from their exhaust on the G37 as well as a picture of their new G sedan exhaust, just to provide some additional information about MXP: http://i27.tinypic.com/30j4una.jpg http://i31.tinypic.com/dy0eqf.jpg |
