Wish those test pipes had the "L" shaped bung...

Other than that - do you find that double res test pipe along with the exhaust completely eliminate that infamous accel/decel rasp around 2-3k?

kdoske 08-06-2009 09:35 PM

Before and after dynos?

I see a dyno above but like the person says above there no before dyno. This makes it pointless if there is no baseline...

I realize that you can just alter other settings on your dyno machine and make it seem an increase of anything you want really, but it will still be nice to have a comparison to look at.

Looks great BTW.

I've mentioned this to them, a U/J bend for the non foulers but according to them due to the design of the o2 bung(screen inside), It should take care of the cel problem.

As for the acce/decel rasp caused by HFC/TEST PIPES. Its really going to be hard to get rid of that but it sure double resonator did minimize it. The exhaust got so much louder with the test pipes that i don't even hear it in the car.

Still under developement sir. Will be taking pre orders once its on its way

protoZ 09-29-2009 05:41 PM

funny because forged has this same exhaust on their website for 1800 says you can add it to cart

Zsteve 09-29-2009 07:53 PM

$1800 is better but still kinda expensive. I do like the note and hope the gains are worth the $$$s. I guess I will have to wait for a GB or a sale for my exhaust.

Thats the MAP price. I'm sure once its out it will be lower, we just can't advertise pricing as vendor-retailer agreement:tup:

protoZ 09-30-2009 06:37 PM

oh i got ya i pm ryan at forged and he says its a pre-order as well so were all good
really lower than 1800?

Zsteve 10-01-2009 07:38 PM

I hope its a good bit lower and soon or I might have to go with another exhaust.

protoZ 10-01-2009 09:08 PM

hey Zsteve where in georgia are you at

Zsteve 10-02-2009 10:32 AM

Im in Augusta GA just a few miles from the border of SC

LiquidZ 10-02-2009 10:37 AM

Lou, do you think they are testing an x pipe as an alternative to the configuration you showed us?

To me, the exhaust looks completed, so I cant think of another reason for it to still be in development.

I don't believe they are going to do any other modification. They are already in production with the H PIPE:tup:
