Haha... at this point I don't know if I want to put the HFCs on or not. I just added them to the order just in case...

Haha... HFCs will definitely make the car sound a little louder, but I don't regret the benefits. Power feels like it kicks in 500rpm sooner, and it doesn't end there. Throttle response felt a bit sluggish at first after installing the exhaust and HFC. You'll even hear popping noises coming out of the exhaust, but it diminishes after a few weeks. At idle, the car sounds "lopey" as if it is off timing... but that's where the old school feeling comes back :-)

Hey, I have an Australian cattle dog!

On cold starts, it is pretty loud and deep. At a certain resonant frequency, the garage door starts to vibrate. My car is parked outside the office, and everyone can hear it on cold start. The same goes for the drone as it can slightly vibrate some interior parts. It sounds bad, but it's not that bad at all. My car is a daily driver, and I'm pretty conservative. I don't regret it and will never go back to stock. Remember, I have the HFC and 12" resonators. Once I get the 18" resonated X-pipes, I'll update the video. Quote:

Now this is with the HFC and x-pipes with 12" resonators... which isn't a quiet solution. Hence, I'm waiting for x-pipes with 18" resonators. |
Yeah I have the 18" and the same thing applies as Digi states. Maybe not loud enough to shake panels but still loud enough to drown out the stereo or something. I really wanna try the FI HFC for hiss purposes though. I may go back to stock cats and put some G3 on instead to make up for power diff or I may just add the G3. :)
