i guess i'll have a say here since it's chaos already...lol

F.I has a pretty darn good rep to the G37 community and they're exhaust setup is the most favored catback in the community

that is exactly what people should be considering when trying to figure out what exhaust to buy especially for new developing products... the identity of the company... please stop comparing the dynos... its just a number

(Good work on getting passed that rev limiter while the car is standing still..haha.) Tony, thank you so much for creating this amazing art piece of an exhaust and making it available to the Z34 community, not because it's my car or anything but I don't think any other exhaust out there sounds this clean with NO rasp. BTW I haven't seen my car since last Thursday guys, so looking forward to the madd rep points for giving up my car for the creation of yet another brilliant piece from Fast Intentions. :happydance:

INSTALLLED!

As of yesterday! as far as how difficult it was to install i'd say about a 7 out of 10, and that's only because i had to hack into the core support (very minor might i add) in order to get the pipes to fit. but other than that install was very straight forward and took exactly an hour, and that's only because i screwed up on a couple of things and had to go back and correct them....hehe. Anywho performance wise i feel a noticeable pull when the temp of the car is between about 150ish to a bit above 180, but as soon as it goes above 200 it's not as noticeable at all. Now keep in mind this is my butt dyno so i could be completely wrong but oh well i guess we'll have to wait until independent dynos become available. (such as mr. denny who we're all waiting for lol.)

just to help everyone out on how i got to my conclusion that the dynos cannot be compared to each other...

I hope that you are not implying that we dynoed the car with Stillen Gen III intakes on it. Because if you are, you are so mis informed. I made the customer take them off before we did any sound testing or dyno testing!

different cars, different dyno, different methods, different everything...also one has stock intakes the other has stillen G3.... common now... oh and both are not independent tests...

Unless you are reffeing to the Berk car having Gen III intakes, you have lost me.

Ok... am sorry...from my read through the thread nothing indicated what other parts are on the car (or i missed the part that it was complete stock)... all i did was to figure out what was on the car by what posts the owner had made... and he has posted on another thread that he had G3 intakes installed... in short, i put those two information together and concluded that it was never taken out considering the effort that goes into putting those on and off...

REGARDLESS OF THIS INFORMATION, my whole statement is to stop the argument/comparison/bashing between the dyno of Berk to the dyno of FI... IT IS WHAT IT IS... and like what have been said... your company is well regarded by multiple car forums and owners...in any case thank you for clarifying that additional fact...

Thank you for taking the time to clear that up.

For the bashing, I do not feel anyone is bashing. This is my thread that I created. People have asked questions and I have answered them to the best of my ability. People will always compare and argue. They are doing it right now because Berk and Fast Intentions are the two newest on the market. I am sorry if you feel offended by what any of us might say but facts are facts...

Thank you, Tony

I know this is REALLY late in the game... But I am leaning towards buying this exhaust based on I like the design. However, the angle of the only pic showing it on the car doesn't really show what I can expect to see with the car sitting on the ground. Is there another pic that can be taken from just behind the car on the ground, or do you have anymore sitting around somewhere we haven't seen yet?

Ok only question, and I hope it hasen't been asked/answered already...

This exhaust doesnt have the mesh section built into the Y-Pipe?
Reason? Or unneeded?

Will this only bolt up to F.I. HFC's or Berk's as well?

Don't know about the mesh, in the y-pipe. But yes this will bolt up to any HFC, they are all the same in fitment.

Then it's decided, I'll be going with the F.I. Exhaust.

We use an X Pipe because it is a true dual cat back. it will bolt right up to any cat that ends in stock location...

Thanks, Tony
