Tony, I pm'd you asking if you would make the F.I. exhaust with a set of stock style (or Berk style) oval tips instead of the large round/resonated ones. Is this available as an option or no? I'm thinking about picking up the exhaust but I do not want big tips out back. Thanks!

The tips aren't that big. It's not like they're Fast & Furious style coffee cans.
The canisters are gonna give away any hope of looking factory, anyway :tup:

Agreed, they are not ricey, but I still prefer the appearance of the stock tips over aftermarket.

No problem Tony, thanks for the PM! One other question, can you provide some input on why the warranty is only 1 year on the Carbon Fiber mufflers vs the 3 year warranty on the Stainless Mufflers? Also, I'm assuming the resonators are not carbon fiber when you get the C.Fiber option, just the rearmost mufflers. Thanks again!

My manufacturer of the mufflers only gives me a 1 year on the Carbon Fiber opposed to a 3 year on the stainless. The only component in the system that is Carbon Fiber is the sleeve to the actual mufflers.

Thanks! Do the CF mufflers provide any difference in sound or tone, aside from the noted weight savings? It's hard to tell from the lower quality videos posted on Youtube. The official, high quality FI videos are only of SS mufflers if I remember correctly. Thanks!

^^ Yes, there are reports that the CF mufflers are slightly louder than the SS....but I imagine that it's minimal.

The tone of the Carbon Fiber mufflers are slightly higher. Now I will be able to tell the difference but you will not. You have to hear the difference up close on a daily basis to be able to tell. That is how close it is in sound.
