I just wanna know what the difference in sound is vs:

LTH's 18" Res CBE CF

LTH's 18" Res CBE SS

If you have vids of the two, I'm sold. I can't decide on CF or SS cans... I think the CF will look sick, but you reccomend SS and I don't want to go against your expertise...

I do not have comparison videos. My recommendation is that you go with the SS cans because it will sound cleaner! To me the sound is very important and if I had to make a decision over the looks can wise or the sound I would always pick the sound.

Ouch to those who purchased the CF cans :icon14:

Can you explain "Cleaner" (I'm not attuned to the different sounds of the VQ engine, and not surrounded by your exausts in the shop), so to me... without prior experience, I'm just trying to learn as much as I can.

hell no i love the carbon fiber exhaust.

By cleaner I believe he means that the SS filters out a little more of the higher frequencies and as these frequencies appear more in peaks then in constant tones, the SS has a bit more of narrower frequency band of sounds that are audible.
And as a result it will sound a little smoother. Personally I like the CF sound better as I feel it gives the sound more personality.

Why is everyone freaking out now because of what Tony said. I'm sure you'll all be very happy with your product, whether it's SS or CF mufflers. My God.....is everyone callin up Tony to change their orders?

There are a tone of videos out there of both CF and SS mufflers. Yes, there is a subtle difference but if you didn't know that by now, then shame on you for not doing your homework by looking at the vids.

Me, I prefer the sound of SS than of the CF. BUT, if F.I. only produced CF mufflers, I'd get them w/o thinking twice. And I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem here because you'd have nothing to compare it too...and the fact that it sounds awesome to begin with.

Oh Man! Its being built!! :excited:

I have to disagree with you Tony, the CF mufflers sounded much sexier than the SS ones on my friends car, even my friend now wants to switch to CF lol

I made a comparison video but my friend had HFCs and I had Res TPs so it wouldn't be a fair comparison

Bottom line is, even it if it's made from plastic, if it's coming from Tony it'll be eargasmic!

Majestik -- did you ever get your stuff installed yet? I'm really curious about the RHFC and you're the only one that I know who ordered and received them. Any chance of a review (and maybe video too) ?

Tony has shipped it to my Bongo address which is being consolidated with other items I'm shipping from the US. Fingers crossed that I'll be ready to ship all to Australia sometime this week. It will then take a
week to get here.

I will update here the moment I've got it installed.
