UPDATE-

The prototype will begin this coming Monday November 9th (LONG TUBE HEADERS). We will do our best to have pictures, sound clips and possibly dyno charts up by Thanksgiving.

FAQ's:

Q: How much will they cost?
A: Once they are put into production we will set the pricing. There will be a retail and then a introductory sale price, no group buy.

Q: I know that they will replace the stock manifolds, but will they also replace the stock cats?
A: Yes to both, they will bolt up into the stock location on the front of the cat back. So they will work with a stock cat back or ours!

Q: Will they throw a CEL light?
A: As of right now, I will venture towards NO they will not.

Q: Will there be room for a resonator or high flow cat within the header?
A: Not on this version right away. Down the road with possibly a mid length version.

Q: Will the LTH's be louder then a car with shorty headers and aftermarket cats?
A: Most likely!

Q: Will they make torque and power then a shorty and HFC?
A: That is the point! It should make more torque than power.

Q: What material will they be offered in?
A: Standard T-304 Stainless Steel and ceramic coating upon request ($$$).

Q: Will they be CARB approved?
A: NO for California, OFF ROAD USE ONLY. The other 49 states, it will all depend on your laws.

Q: Is Fast Intentions really this good?
A: "Where the impossible is possible"

For any other questions please do not hesitate to ask...

Thank you, Tony

I have no idea yet!

NewYorkJon34 11-06-2009 10:09 PM

Please don't make them too much Tony, $600 would be great

NewYorkJon34 11-06-2009 10:15 PM

Also how's #47 coming along?

LiquidZ 11-06-2009 10:26 PM

I think a good set of long tube beaders from FI would be closer to $1000.

NewYorkJon34 11-06-2009 10:43 PM

^you could pay a $1000, I rather pay $600. Give me alil break, I already paid enough for the exhaust, ya know.

F.I. Inc. 11-06-2009 11:35 PM

Guys, you both have a point. However, lets not speculate on price. I do not even have them prototyped yet. I promise, I will be fair in the pricing that I set...

Thanks, Tony

NewYorkJon34 11-06-2009 11:45 PM

Thanks Tony, I am sure you'll price them fair. Also I'm dieing to recieve my exhaust, its getting shipped out this week right?

Oh boy I can't wait for this!!

earwicker7 11-07-2009 11:50 AM

I really wish I knew a guy who could fudge my emission test results... guess I'll have to wait until I move back to the Midwest (when my daughter graduates from high school in eight years). Damn those CA laws!

Tony, can you PM me a price for my 370z nismo? Fits the nismo right? Sorry if its already asked but 160 pages is too many to go through. I know its pretty much the same but just want to make sure. Can you send me the price for CF and SS? Last, let me know the lead time. Thanks!

Earwicker, I have a hook up on the E tests if you need help.

Thank you

That's my thought too - figure adding the cost of RTP's / HFC's and Shorty's from a competitor to come up with a prospective total price - actually, I'd take that, and let the gains difference dictate if I'm cheaper or more expensive than that combination...

NewYorkJon34 11-08-2009 06:54 AM

^Just let Tony set a fair price, it's kind of a bad business move for us to be saying you'd pay more when there's a possibility for the LTH's the be cheaper.
