Just Ordered HKS Hybrid Filters

Hey guys. Has anybody had any experiences witht the HKS Drop-ins? Is it a cartridge or just the filter itself? Any noticable differences? Thanks guys.

its just a foam filter. i was weary of them simply because there were reports of the foam wearing out after a while and possibly being sucked into the engine.

once i read that, i promptly ordered K&N/AFE dry filters

I wouldn't bother. Just save up and swap to the Stillen intakes.

Any reason you're not going with long tube intakes, a la Gen 3's?

This mod is a must do if you are looking to swap out the paper filters. The powerband is way smoother and it feels faster than before.
