I would say you nicked the cannister and it is leaking slightly when you get pressure up after a fill up or on a hot day. Check see if new

I would say you nicked the cannister and it is leaking slightly when you get pressure up after a fill up or on a hot day. Check see if new pipe is rubbing the cannister now in the area you shaved. Maybe put a daub of caulk on the spot you shaved and see if that seals it. Even better is some liquid electrical tape rubber you can paint on with a little brush provided on the can.
