Alright so now everything slides in nicely (thanks to the almighty silicone lube). However, on the passenger side, the feeder hose that goes into the maf tube's metal valve gets cramped unless it is trimmed.
Anyone else need to trim that hose? The plastic diverter that is used with the stock tubes can't be used, so the hose has to go straight into the maf tube, however since it gets cramped, there's no point putting it on. I can get a different hose or trim this one. Let me know please. I can post pics if needed. Thanks guys. (Maybe it's the 2012 Z ... dunno)

Alright, that sounds like a plan. I'll report back when done.
Thanks a bunch.

Installed
![]() Car feels great, butt dyno is satisfied. To install we've removed the metal nipple as spencer@z1 suggested and everything fell into place from there. Also silicone lube helped a lot ![]() Thanks to everyone for the hints.

You talking about the clamps? I think you can find those in a hardware store (they'll prolly look a little diff but would work the same).

![]() Thank you very much for the info, I will def try to fit the factory baffle into it tonight. I think you guys should give an option on your webpage for adding hoses, like you do with K&N drop-ins. I would have bought em.
