Definitely well worth the wait, I had Stillen exhaust in the past and this surpasses it 10 times over!:excited:

Do tell in what ways it surpasses the Stillen 10x over? I am not being facetious. I am still on the fence between these two, Stillen and FI, CBE systems. I was told that the wait is about 8-10 weeks for the FI CBE. Thanks.

When I originally ordered my Stillen exhaust I was told the turnaround was about 2 weeks, when in fact it took well over a month to get delivered. Still not as long as FI but the wait was still there.

Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the Stillen exhaust but when comparing the two you can see the FI is lighter with less bottlenecking and the quality is a notch better. From the rear view standpoint the FI wins hands down as this thing looks like it's ready to kick some A$$. The sound of the FI exhaust is what excites me the most when driving my Z, the Stillen had more of a rasp as the FI has more of a growl. You literally want to stay deep in the throttle while driving the FI to hear the beautiful notes it produces at varied RPMs.

Again at the end of the day it's all about preference, both are really great exhaust but the FI just excites me more during my Driving Experience:tiphat:

Thanks for the input. Yes the FI looks awesome from every view. I am so confused; do I get the Stillen and enjoy it sooner or get the FI and wait for 8-12 weeks??? Decisions, decisions, decisions!!!

I was in the same boat. I really liked the FI but I had the money burning a hole in my bank account and wasn't sure about the wait. I lucked out and found a used FI exhaust for sale in the classifieds. Keep an eye on them, you might be able to find one without the wait and end up saving a few bucks as well.

Thanks. I thought of that as well. I even found a local FI CBE posted a few months ago. Price was right but the CBE had over 35,000 kms on it. I just could not bring myself to buying a used exhaust for a brand new 370Z. I will continue to search, you never know.

It's just pipes, there is no wear on an exhaust (unless it was scratched up).

It had dents, scrapes and scratches on it for sure.

If I own a '16 Z, I'd go with a brand new exhaust.
3 months wait wasn't so bad, at the end it's all worth it.

Order now and July is only beginning of summer!:tiphat:

Thanks for the advise. I actually spoke to Kevin from FI. Super nice guy. He followed up our conversation with an e-mail with his recommendations and confirmed that they are super busy. The FI CBE would be closer to 14 weeks to manufacture. I will give it a bit more thought. However, I am thinking the same thing now. Mid-July is not that far off and in the end, I think I will be happier with that symphonic sounding FI CBE. Cheers!

If you wait another month, it will be September.

My girlfriend and I had to swap cars this morning so she's in the Z. As I was coming back from lunch, she drove by my office on her way to lunch. Damn is sounds good. Now I know why everyone looks. LOL! Loud, but not that obnoxious import-racer loud, and nice 'pop pop pop' scavenging as she slowed for a turn.

I would like to ask a question, I have 2016 sport tech, I want to change the exhaust and pretty much think about going F1. I'm older now and don't want to hear a very loud note in the cabin. Actually I would but my passenger (wife) would not. How loud is the exhaust note inside the cabin? I love this car, actually won an award at a pretty large car show Saturday, what a hoot!

Thanks
